Why We Improvise

Improv is spontaneous, supportive, and exhilarating. Most importantly, improv allows a group of people to build a world together.

“Yes, And” is the first rule of improv, and at it’s core, this philosophy is rooted in building and supporting others on stage and off.

We strive to make improv accessible to everyone.

Charles Charm

I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Theater from Cal Poly in 2021. I have performed Improv Comedy professionally since 2014. I started at Comedy Sportz Sacramento where Nikki and I met. I have taught acting and improv courses across California.

I am passionate about providing opportunities to the community to learn about theater and to feel both comfortable and excited to perform, like I do.

Nikki Maraviglia

I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in 2016 from Cal Poly, and I’m currently working on my Masters of Science. I have been performing Improv since I was 14 years old, at SLOHS. Since then, I have done workshops at Second City in Chicago, performed as part of Smile and Nod at Cal Poly, and professionally with Comedy Sportz Sacramento. I have taught and preformed locally for many years.

I love doing improv, and it is a huge part of my life. I’m excited to share this passion with you!
